NEWS UPDATE
The family of a woman who died following a collision on the M4 at the weekend, have paid tribute to a loving and selfless mother.
Susan Elizabeth Curtis, 50, from St Thomas, Swansea, died at the scene of the single-vehicle collision, which occurred on the eastbound carriageway between junction 35 (Pencoed) and junction 36 (Sarn) shortly before 7.40am on Sunday, November 11th.
Paying tribute, her family – husband Leighton and children Sam, Ben, Emily and Rebecca – said:
“A loving, selfless and protective woman, Mam was constantly doing something for others.
“Fiercely strong and independent, we can’t begin to contemplate the void she has left, not only in her family’s lives but also everyone who knew her.
“We will love and miss you always.”
An investigation in to the circumstances of the collision is continuing and officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, has dash cam footage, or who stopped to provide assistance.
Anyone who saw the vehicle – a silver Renault Clio – prior to the collision, is also asked to get in touch via 101, quoting Occurrence 1800428930.
