Find Christmas magic and more at Carew Castle and Oriel y Parc
Whether you’re looking for great Christmas gifts or want to visit Santa in his Grotto, two of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority’s top visitor attractions are holding events that can help you get your festive fix.
Carew Castle and Oriel y Parc Gallery and Visitor Centre are both hosting special Christmas events, where you’ll also find family fun and be inspired to explore the National Park’s world-class landscape.
National Park Authority Chair Gwyneth Hayward, said:
“These events both offer an opportunity to enjoy some festive fun with the family as you help support some of the area’s best small businesses and sample great local produce.
“The winter months also provide an ideal opportunity to see the National Park in a different light, so why not take this opportunity to wrap up warm and explore it with a brisk walk on the beach or on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.”
The Carew Castle Christmas Fayre will take place from 9.30am-4pm on Sunday 25 November.
This year promises to be Carew Castle’s biggest fayre yet with more than 60 local craft makers, artists and food producers attending.
The Quaynotes Choir will be helping to create a festive atmosphere by performing carols and festive songs from 12.30pm-1pm and 1.30pm-2pm.
Children will be able to visit Santa’s magical Grotto for £2.50 a child and follow a free Christmas treasure hunt searching for clues around the Castle and grounds.
Entry to the fayre is £3.50 for adults and free for children.
Free parking by kind permission of Carew Cheriton Control Tower. Follow signs for the park and ride.

Oriel y Parc will be packed with stalls both inside and out with gifts and produce from more than 40 local producers and businesses.
Children will be able to receive a gift from Santa in his Grotto between 11am-3.30pm for £2 per child.
There will be live music from Tempus Choir between 12 noon and 1pm and the café will be serving seasonal food and drink to add to the festive atmosphere.
There will also be an opportunity to visit the Coast exhibition in the Amgueddfa Cymru-National Museum Wales gallery, bringing together artwork and natural specimens to explore how the sea has inspired artists and how plastic has impacted on art and everyday life.
Works by a range of local artists are on display in the café and Tower.
