Treorchy RTC Update: Elderly woman dies in hospital
South Wales Police can confirm the death of the 81 year-old woman who was involved in a road traffic collision in Treorchy on Monday the 12th of November, 2018.
Muriel Kinsey, from Pentre, was in a critical condition at the University Hospital of Wales where she was admitted following the collision.
She sadly passed away on Wednesday night – her next of kin has been informed and her family is being supported by a specially trained officers.
Police investigating the collision are continuing their appeal for information and want to speak to anybody who saw the collision who has not yet spoken to officers.
The collision, which involved a red Ford Ecosport, occurred at approximately 2.15pm at the junction of High Street and the A4061 known locally as Stag Square.
