Serious RTC, Gellifowy Road, Pontardawe
Police in Swansea are continuing to appeal for people to come forward following a serious collision which saw four young men hospitalised.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a single-vehicle collision on Gellifowy Road, Pontardawe, at approximately 12.45pm on Saturday (November 24th).
The 18-year-old driver of the vehicle – a green Rover 25 – was taken to the University of Hospital of Wales where he remains in a critical condition.
Three passengers, two aged 18 and one 19, were taken to Morriston Hospital. The two 18-year-olds remain in hospital with serious injuries, while the 19-year-old was discharged on Sunday.
Officers are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet given an account to police to do so via 101, quoting occurrence 1800446242.
They’d also like to hear from anyone who saw the manner in which the car was being driven in the hours prior to the collision, or anyone who may have CCTV or dash-cam footage which could assist with the investigation.
