Another boost for Burry Port RNLI New Lifeboat Station Appeal!
The Burry Port RNLI New Lifeboat Station Appeal was boosted recently, when it was presented with a cheque of £1,500.00 from the Friendship Sequence Dance Club.
The presentation was made to Trevor Griffiths, Chairman and Robin Davies, Member of Burry Port Lifeboat Management Group, and was made by Mr Gerald Thomas (Dance Leader), Anne Jones (Secretary) and Alan Rees (Treasurer).
The Presentation was held at The Calsonic Club, Felinfoel on the 10th of January, 2019 where the Dance Club meet regularly.
Funds were raised from eight Tea Dances during 2018. Mr Trevor Griffiths, Chairman, took the opportunity to thank everyone for the donation which will be used for the new Lifeboat Station being constructed.
This takes the Appeal total to over £30,000, for the target of £40,000.
