The following players were unavailable for selection due to injury:

Dan Baker – Knee; Adam Beard – HIA; Tom Botha – Stinger; Bradley Davies – Knee; Ma’afu Fia – Achilles; Rhodri Jones – Shoulder; Lesley Klim – Hamstring; Dan Lydiate – Elbow; Nicky Smith – Ankle; Kieran Williams – Groin

Ospreys Head Coach, Allen Clarke said:

“Bottom line, we were disappointed with our accuracy last week and the result makes qualification from the group extremely slim.

“We’ve made the decision to rest our international players selected for Wales which provides an opportunity for the boys to blend as a team in preparation for four important fixtures during the Six Nations period.

“Playing in France is always testing and we expect the same on Saturday against Pau, no matter what team they select. For some players who haven’t had much game time it’s a great chance to put their hand up for selection next week.”
