Serious Assault at New Quay Charity Football Event
Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating after a man was seriously assaulted at a charity football event in New Quay.
At around 11.30pm on Saturday, March the 9th, the victim, a man, was punched to the head and bitten by a man at a marquee, which was near to the Memorial Hall. The victim was left with serious facial injuries that will need surgery to treat.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, and released under investigation pending further police enquiries.
