Racially-motivated assault in Llanelli

Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating a racially-motivated assault, which took place in Llanelli on Saturday, February the 23rd, at around 8.15pm.

The victim, a 29-year-old man, left the town centre after watching the Wales v England rugby match.

He walked passed Llanelli Magistrates Court, proceeded down Bridge Street and when in the vicinity of the credit union shop was approached and attacked by three, possibly four men. He was punched several times to the head.

He suffered swelling to the left eye and minor injuries to his forehead.

Anyone with information that can help officers with their investigation is asked to contact PC 211 Owens at Llanelli Police Station by calling 101.
