An exciting project focussing on the development of the creative arts sector in Pembrokeshire has been awarded funding by Arwain Sir Benfro.
Arwain Sir Benfro – the Local Action Group (LAG) for Pembrokeshire, administered by PLANED is supporting a project in the delivery of the objectives of the ‘Adding value to local identity, natural and cultural resources’ RDP LEADER theme in rural Pembrokeshire with a focus on the development of creative arts sectors in Pembrokeshire.
Sue Davies, Arts Development Officer for the project said: “This exciting project is inspired by Pembrokeshire’s unique heritage and culture. We hope to bring together the cultural sector countywide to build a strong, sustainable cultural partnership focussing on the arts across all art forms.
“We are inviting interested parties from within the local arts sector to express their interest in getting involved in two ways: in an arts’ sector-led consultative exercise; and the opportunity to work as part of a project team leading the consultation.”
To express your interest in being involved in the project please send a covering letter, titled Inspiring Pembrokeshire expressing your interest, explaining why you feel you should be a key member of such a team; the skills you offer, together with your CV with referees’ names no later than midday 25 March 2019.

LEADER is supporting all kinds of activity: mentoring, training, feasibility studies or pilot projects that test an innovative new idea. It can also be used for projects that improve local skills, make better use of a local resource or realise the economic potential of part of the locality leading to a ‘new’ outcome or product.

Bydd prosiect cyffrous sy’n canolbwyntio ar ddatblygu’r sector celfyddydau creadigol yn Sir Benfro yn cael cyllid gan Arwain Sir Benfro.
Mae Arwain Sir Benfro – y Grŵp Gweithredu Lleol ar gyfer Sir Benfro, a weinyddir gan PLANED, yn cefnogi prosiect i gyflawni amcanion thema ‘Ychwanegu gwerth i hunaniaeth leol, adnoddau naturiol ac adnoddau diwylliannol’ RDP LEADER yng nghefn gwlad Sir Benfro, gan ganolbwyntio ar ddatblygu sectorau celfyddydau creadigol yn Sir Benfro.
Dywedodd Sue Davies, Swyddog Datblygu Celfyddydau ar gyfer y prosiect: “Yr ysbrydoliaeth i’r prosiect cyffrous hwn yw treftadaeth a diwylliant Sir Benfro. Rydym yn gobeithio dwyn ynghyd y sector diwylliannol ar draws y sir gyfan i ddatblygu partneriaeth ddiwylliannol gref, gynaliadwy a fydd yn canolbwyntio ar y celfyddydau ar bob ffurf.
“Rydym yn gwahodd rhai sydd â diddordeb o’r sector celfyddydau yn lleol i fynegi eu diddordeb mewn cymryd rhan mewn dwy ffordd: mewn ymarfer ymgynghorol a fydd yn cael ei arwain gan y sector celfyddydau; a’r cyfle i weithio fel rhan o dîm prosiect a fydd yn arwain yr ymgynghoriad.”
