COUNTY LINES COURT APPEARANCE TODAY FOR 18-YEAR-OLD

Harrison James Coe, aged 18, of Wrekin Road, Sutton Coldfield, has today (March the 15th) been charged with:

  • Arrange or facilitate travel of another person with a view to exploitation
  • Possess a controlled drug of Class B – Cannabis / Cannabis Resin
  • Possess an offensive weapon in a public place
  • Possess with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A – Crack Cocaine
  • Possess with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A – Heroin
  • Supply a controlled drug of Class A – Cocaine
  • Supply a controlled drug of Class A – Heroin
  • Supply a controlled drug of Class B – Cannabis

He has appeared at Llanelli Magistrates Court this morning and been remanded in to custody.

He is due to appear at Swansea Crown Court on April the 15th. It is thought the human trafficking charge is the first in Wales to be prosecuted in connection to County Lines drug supply.

BACKGROUND: COE was arrested at 8.33pm on March the 12th, following a proactive traffic stop on the outskirts of Llanelli, on suspicion of:

  • Possess knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place
  • Possess with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A – Cocaine
  • Possess a controlled drug of Class B – Cannabis / Cannabis Resin
  • Commit offence other than kidnapping or false imprisonment with intent to commit human trafficking offence
