The Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority has published its Corporate Plan 2019 – 2024
The Corporate Plan sets out the Authority’s Six Strategic Aims for the next five years – along with its Well-being and Improvement Objectives for the year ahead (2019/20).
The Authority’s Strategic Aims and Well-being Improvement Objectives have been set in the context of the significant challenges facing public services, but also reflect an appetite to embrace innovative ideas and new ways of working. They also embrace the seven wellbeing goals and reflect the Authority’s duties and commitment to the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.
Councillor Rowland Rees-Evans, Chair of Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority said:
“Over the next year, our focus will be on developing and delivering a new home safety intervention to those most at risk within our communities. We are also committed to investing in our people and making the best use of our assets and resources, ensuring our staff are as fully equipped as possible to deal with emergencies and better protect themselves and the communities they serve.
“As we continue to meet the financial challenges ahead, we will also look to develop innovative solutions to ensure the provision of cost effective and high-quality services.”
