Llanelli, Sea-Side: The Other Side Of The Tracks

Llanelli, Sea-Side: The other side of the tracks,
That place where neighbours watch your backs!
Where the views are splendid, especially the Gower,
Seen with ease whether sunshine or rain shower.
Where ships disgorged their cargoes every day,
And where it was safe for children to play.
Arriving sailors were glad to see our shore,
Knowing that here they’d find pubs galore!
This is an Utopia of immeasurable worth,
And its people, the salt of the earth!
