New technology is developing every day at lightning speed, and it is truly hard to keep up. It doesn’t matter if you buy the latest phone, laptop or camera because in just a couple of months it is going to be outdated. If we follow Moore’s Law from 54 years ago, which says that processing speed will double every 18 months, we are going to be truly amazed at how fast technology develops. As more and more developers are trying every day to come up with some groundbreaking inventions that will make our lives easier, we can only imagine what will the future bring to us.

We are going to highlight some of the brightest new inventions, and pick some of our favorite devices for this year.

  1. LG Signature OLED TV R

We saw the latest foldable screens that Samsung, Huawei, and other companies introduced, but LG came up with the 65-inch OLED roll-up TV. The technology is incredible, the idea of having a TV screen that can be rolled like yoga mat is amazing. LG didn’t announce how much it will cost, but the rumors are saying that it will be at least $10,000. However, Samsung came up with new technology as well. The 8K generation is starting, introducing 85-inch 8K resolution TV called “The Wall” that will cost you $15,000.

  1. Y- Brush

In a lifetime, the average person will spend around 35 days, brushing their teeth. Don’t worry though because Y-Brush is here. This is a cleverly designed device that will allow you to lower your teeth-brushing to 10 seconds. The technology is very simple, and yet effective. You add toothpaste, put the device in your mouth, and press the button. Y-Brush vibrates as you make chewing motion for 5 seconds, after that, you flip it, and repeat. This time saving device will cost you $125.

  1. Robot suitcase that carries your luggage

It is a marvelous idea, in the future, you will not have to drag your suitcase like a horse pulling a carriage. This robot suitcase will follow you as you go and, it’s smart enough to evade obstacles, find the best route to navigate, and has a top speed of 6.75mph. It has GPS, so you can keep track of its location at all times.

  1. KitchenAid Cook Processor Connect

This is good news for the people who don’t want to cook or don’t have enough time. This new machine can do it for you. It can slice your ingredients to your size, stirs whatever you are cooking, steams your food, measures weight and much more. It has over 100 recipes that you can follow. This appliance is an all-in-one machine that will become handy in the kitchen.

  1. Foldimate

Some will say that people are becoming lazier, but when you own the technology that can make your life easier, why not use it? Foldimate is a bot machine that is developed to fold your clothes. This technology already existed, but with Foldimate you can get it in a smaller size enabling you to fit it in your room. It will cost about $1,000, and we can expect it at the end of 2019.

  1. Nreal Light mixed reality glasses

This truly groundbreaking tech allows you to see overlays of video images in the real world. The problem with this technology is that it requires a high powered processor and battery to make it work, but if you equip all of that on a pair of glasses, they will become impractical. Nreal has addressed this issue by keeping the processor out and attaching it via cable. No price has been reviled yet.

  1. Quix and Qolo

Both these concept machines are aimed at disabled people, and both of them are designed by finalists at Toyota’s Mobility Unlimited Challenge. If these prototypes become true in the future, they will make life easier for so many people. Quix is designed to aid walking, and it has motors at the hips, knees, and ankles. Qolo is like a transformer wheelchair that can bring disabled people into upright position.

  1. Gaming phones

The gaming industry grows day by day, so technology must follow. Companies start to take on this trend and develop gaming phones. The recipe for this is simple: enormous battery, high-end CPU and RAM, Cooling and widescreen. Companies like Asus and Razer are already in this competition, followed by ZTE with the new Red Magic Mars.
