Llanelli AM to hold first supermarket surgery

Local Assembly Member Lee Waters, will be holding a public advice surgery for Llanelli constituents. The event will take place in Morrisons café in Parc Pemberton on Friday 10th May from 2-3:30pm.

The surgery will be an opportunity for Llanelli constituents to raise any particular concerns or issues with Lee Waters, and he will be able to take them up on their behalf.

Lee Waters AM said, “Public advice surgeries provide a great opportunity for our elected representatives to hear the issues that truly matter to the people that they serve. Nia Griffith and I hold advice surgeries every week right across the constituency so that people can raise problems with us that we can try and help with.”

This will be the first time that Lee Waters has held an open surgery at a supermarket, and plans are underway to hold further surgeries in other local supermarkets in the following months. It’s hoped that holding surgeries in supermarkets will encourage more people to come and talk about any issues with Lee Waters directly.

“We are grateful to Morrisons Llanelli for allowing us to hold our surgery in their supermarket and we hope that it will be a successful regular event, taking place in supermarkets across the Llanelli constituency”.

“Events such as these are vital in making elected representatives more visible to the wider public”. Lee Waters added.

No appointments are required for the surgery, alternatively Lee Waters AM can be contacted via lee.waters@assembly.wales or through the constituency office 43 Pottery St, Llanelli SA15 1SU /  01554 774902
