This week’s episode of Game of Thrones generated almost 2 million posts on Twitter, according to a study by musicMagpie – https://www.musicmagpie.co.uk/most-talked-about-tv/#gameofthrones
During the second episode of season 8, fans shared approximately 1,943,312 tweets, a considerable drop from the season premiere, which saw a record breaking 3,857,823 tweets posted. However, despite the drop, this week’s episode still comes in as the 4th most tweeted about episode of Game of Thrones to date.
The episode was generated a less positive reaction than the season premiere, with 31% of tweets being joyous, compared to 38% in the season premiere. To add to this, 48% of the tweets concerning episode 2 were sad, up from just 42% in the season premiere.

Internet favourites Tormund Giantsbane and Brienne of Tarth have been making fans the happiest, with 57% and 49% of the tweets about these 2 characters being joyous.

Who are the most hated characters?
Bronn comes out on top as the most hated character on Twitter, with 24% of all tweets about him being angry. Theon Greyjoy, Bran Stark and Joffrey Baratheon share the number two spot, with 17% of their tweets being angry.
