The saddest Game of Thrones death so far (and Twitter’s reactions to THAT coffee cup…)

The Last of the Starks, the fourth episode of the final season of Game of Thrones, was the saddest episode of the season so far, according to analysis from musicMagpie – https://www.musicmagpie.co.uk/most-talked-about-tv/#gameofthrones

During the episode, which saw a popular character meet an untimely end, fans sent 2,097,047 tweets, with 60% of them being sad.

Missandei’s death also came out on top as the saddest death of any character, with 84% of tweets about her being sad. This beat the previous saddest death, which was held by Viserion, with 82% of tweets about Daenerys’ faithful dragon being sad. Third place is still held by Jon Snow, with 75% of tweets about him being sad.

However, it wasn’t just Missandei’s beheading that had fans jumping online to share their views. Some eagle-eyed viewers spotted a rogue Starbucks coffee cup that had been left on a table in front on Daenerys. There were an incredible 93,047 tweets from people who’d noticed the blunder. Let’s hope nobody else’s head rolls for that mistake…

Internet favourites Tormund Giantsbane and Brienne of Tarth have been making fans the happiest, with 57% and 49% of the tweets about these 2 characters being joyous.

Who are the most hated characters?

Bronn comes out on top as the most hated character on Twitter, with 24% of all tweets about him being angry. Theon Greyjoy, Bran Stark and Joffrey Baratheon share the number two spot, with 17% of their tweets being angry.
