*SPOILERS AHEAD*

The Bells, the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones, was the third most talked about episode of the series so far, with 3,800,847 tweets shared by fans. It also takes the top spot as the saddest episode, with 60% of tweets being sad – equal to last week’s episode.

However, it seems that a lot of fans weren’t particularly happy with the outcome of the episode, which saw Daenerys Targaryen finally snap after being pushed to the limit. There were 839,627 tweets posted discussing the Mother of Dragons, with 66% of them being sad – perhaps this wasn’t the conclusion fans were hoping for?
