Shuttle Buses to Operate To Madness Ffos Las Concert
Madness may have liked “driving in their car” but those going to see them at Ffos Las on Saturday 25 May don’t have to.
With the Trimsaran racecourse expected to draw its biggest ever crowd for the gig, bosses have announced that shuttle buses will be operating from Llanelli train station on the day. Punters are being urged to use the buses running direct from the train station to the racecourse to avoid getting caught in long queues coming in and out of the venue.
Buses will be running every 15 to 30 minutes from 2.30pm with buses leaving Ffos Las after the concert between 10.45pm and midnight. The cost is £5 return per person.
With 15 top 10 UK singles including One Step Beyond, It Must Be Love and the number one hit House of Fun, concert goers will be able to celebrate over 40 years of one of most iconic bands after they perform live after racing around 9.30pm.
Phil Bell, Executive Director at Ffos Las Racecourse, said: “We’re gearing up for a big day here at Trimsaran and we’re expecting the biggest crowd we’ve ever had in our ten year history. So, we’re delighted to be able to offer a shuttle service to the venue.
“We’ve decided to put on shuttle buses from Llanelli train station to ensure that everyone has a stress-free day with no long queues to content with. Whether you’re coming from Llanelli or further afield, using the public transport on offer will get everyone’s days off to the right start!
“We also want to support our neighbouring traders in Llanelli, so we’re hoping that by encouraging people to come to the town centre first, it will bring more visitors to the town and help spread the feel good factor.”
Tickets for Madness at Ffos Las on 25 May are still available from ffoslasracourse.com.
