Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses of a two vehicle collision that happened on the A485 at Windy Corner, near Pencader, around 12.15pm yesterday (Sunday, June 9).
A lorry and a silver Vauxhall Astra were involved in the collision.
The female driver of the Astra was trapped in her vehicle.
The fire service removed her from the car and she was conveyed to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries.
The road remains closed. Avoid the area and diversions are in place.
The B4459 Pencader road remains open.
