‘ONE-STOP-SHOP’ SOLUTION NOW AVAILABLE TO LETTING AGENTS SEEKING PROTECTION FOR LANDLORDS ACROSS REFERENCING, INSURANCE AND DEPOSITS

Leading tenant referencing and lettings insurance provider, Barbon Insurance Group, best known for its HomeLet and Rentshield Direct brands, has partnered with flatfair to co-market the two companies’ products and services.

flatfair is a new and innovative technology-based solution to tenancy deposit alternatives, whilst the Barbon referencing and insurance brands have been present for twenty five years. Barbon has been serving the needs of an industry now experiencing significant change as a consequence of the raft of regulatory and legislative change imposed on it by central authorities over the past few years. The Tenant Fees Act, effective 1st June, is the latest in a succession of major changes to the established ways of working in the sector.

Tenancy deposit alternatives are a relatively recent addition to the range of protection products available in the sector and instead of adding further to the range of different solutions at this stage, HomeLet and Rentshield Direct have elected to partner with an existing provider and to offer a convenient ‘one-stop-shop’ solution to letting agents seeking a comprehensive range of protection solutions for their landlords across referencing, insurance and deposits.
