Rthe Newport Marathon and raised an amazing £1092.45 for Ward 10 at Withybush Hospital, Pembrokeshire.

Hywel Dda Health Charities offered free places for runners to fundraise for any ward, service or department across Hywel Dda University Health Board.

Sarah Stiles said:
“Everyone has been affected by cancer at some point in their lives and with my job it’s something I see on a daily basis. We wanted to raise as much money as possible to be donated to the ward so that every patient receives the most homely and comforting experience.”

Nicola Zroud, Senior Ward Sister added:

“Thank you so much to John and Sarah for training and completing the Newport Marathon and raising a huge amount of money for Pembrokeshire Cancer Services. The £1092.45 that John and Sarah have raised will be used to enhance the care provided for patients staying on ward 10. This donation will ensure that patients, their families and staff can access a wide range of specialist services and equipment beyond what the NHS can currently provide. Thank you so much to John and Sarah and everyone who supported them.”

Whether you want to run, trek, cycle, bake or do your own thing to raise funds for us, your support will help us provide more equipment and support for our patients, above and beyond what the NHS can currently provide:
