Local Carmarthen business boosts workforce by more than a quarter

Launched over 22 years ago, Countrywide South Wales has taken on its 80^th employee, of which over 90% are client facing roles offering services ranging from grass cutting, shrubbery and gutter clearance to landscaping and line marking.

Headquartered at Port Talbot, Countrywide South Wales has 25 teams operating from six different locations – Baglan Energy Park (the main depot), Haverfordwest, Carmarthen, Cardiff, Newport and Merthyr Tydfil – and they work across a diverse number of sectors, including healthcare, education, facilities management, utilities, retail and housing associations.

In addition to carrying out grounds and maintenance during the peak season (April to October), Countrywide also offers associated services including winter gritting, landscaping and planting, tree work, fencing and artificial grass.
