The Brexit vote coupled with austerity has hurt household incomes more than anything other than recessions in the past 60 years, according to new research from the Resolution Foundation.

Commenting, Best for Britain supporter Jo Stevens MP said:

“It’s official – there’s no such thing as a ‘jobs first Brexit’.

“After nearly a decade of austerity, the Brexit mess is adding more misery to households up and down the country. Peoples’ livelihoods are suffering, we’ve had a run on the pound, and jobs are being lost everyday thanks to politicians with no plan trying to force through Brexit.

“We can stop this plummeting downwards spiral if we stop Brexit.”
