South Wales Police is continuing their investigation into the collision which occurred at 4.30pm on Tuesday July 16th 2019 on the A48 at Margam, close to Margam Park and the Roundabout for J38 of the M4.
The collision involved a black Audi A3 motor vehicle and a silver Kawasaki motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle, Adam James Rose aged 47, has sadly passed away as a result of injuries sustained.
Adam was a husband and father to 5 children and the family have issued the following statement: “Adam was the light of our life, a hard working grafter who sincerely adored his family.
“As he would say we were his life and his family came first.
“He touched many hearts as a kind, caring, selfless, fun loving man who will be dearly missed by the community as a whole.
“There are many words that can be used to describe the man he was and the life he lived, but one thing he will be remembered by is his beautiful smile and wicked laughter.”
South Wales Police would like to hear from anyone that witnessed the collision or who saw the manner in which the vehicles were being driven just prior to the collision, or has dash-cam footage of the incident.
