An exciting project focusing on the development of the creative arts sector in Pembrokeshire is inviting members of the community to participate in a survey about their experience of creative activities and events to guide the creation of a countywide cultural network.

Pembrokeshire Inspired, supported by Arwain Sir Benfro – the Local Action Group (LAG) for Pembrokeshire, administered by PLANED aims to increase collaboration and develop entrepreneurial skills to build resilience for creative arts providers in Pembrokeshire. This will enable long term engagement with communities to use arts related activities for strengthening community cohesion, tackling poverty, regeneration, and improving health and wellbeing.

As part of their community consultation, Pembrokeshire Inspired are offering you the opportunity to win a portion of £150 Post Office High Street vouchers or a pair of tickets to see ‘One Man Two, Guvnors’ at Torch Theatre on 31 October 2019 in return for completing a short survey.

Sue Davies, Arts Development Officer for the project said,

“This exciting project is inspired by Pembrokeshire’s unique heritage and culture. We are only partly realising the full educational potential power of the cultural sector by way of its combined social value. The arts in all its forms provide wonderful, creative learning environments, with the potential to motivate, delight and inspire audiences of all ages, cultures and backgrounds.

We are keen to democratise culture and creativity- most of us contribute to cultural events even if we don’t label them as such through just attending and being involved, whether that is baking a cake, learning a language, assisting in any way for a local event, visiting an exhibition or performance.Culture is about our lives in the round; the ways we live, speak, believe, what we produce, celebrate, but at its heart is the act of being creative – a creative spirit.”

To participate in the community survey, for more information or to connect with Pembrokeshire Inspired as an arts provider, visit www.lifeseeker.wales/pembrokeshire-inspired. The survey is available for completion until midnight on Sunday 19 September and is also available as a hard copy by request.

Ymgynghoriad â’r gymuned yn Oriel VC, Hwlffordd

Cymuned i lywio’r gwaith o ddatblygu Rhwydwaith Celfyddydau Creadigol ar draws y sir

Mae prosiect cyffrous sy’n canolbwyntio ar ddatblygu’r sector celfyddydau creadigol yn Sir Benfro yn gwahodd aelodau o’r gymuned i gymryd rhan mewn arolwg am eu weithgareddau a digwyddiadau creadigol i lywio’r gwaith o greu rhwydwaith diwylliannol ar draws y sir.

Mae Ysbrydoli Sir Benfro, a gefnogir gan Arwain Sir Benfro – y Grŵp Gweithredu Lleol (LAG) ar gyfer Sir Benfro, a weinyddir gan PLANED yn anelu at gynyddu cydweithio a datblygu sgiliau entrepreneuraidd i adeiladu gwydnwch ar gyfer darparwyr celfyddydau creadigol yn Sir Benfro. Bydd hyn yn galluogi ymgysylltu hirdymor â chymunedau i ddefnyddio gweithgareddau sy’n gysylltiedig â’r celfyddydau i gryfhau cydlyniant cymunedol, mynd i’r afael â thlodi, adfywio, a gwella iechyd a llesiant.

Fel rhan o’u hymgynghoriad â’r gymuned, mae Ysbrydoli Sir Benfro yn cynnig y cyfle i chi ennill cyfran o dalebau siopa Stryd Fawr Swyddfa’r Post gwerth £150 neu bâr o docynnau i weld ‘One Man Two, Guvnors’ yn Theatr Torch ar 31 Hydref 2019 am gwblhau arolwg byr.

Dywedodd Sue Davies, Swyddog Datblygu Celfyddydau ar gyfer y prosiect:

“Yr ysbrydoliaeth i’r prosiect cyffrous hwn yw treftadaeth a diwylliant unigryw Sir Benfro. Dim ond yn rhannol yr ydym yn gwireddu pŵer posibl addysgol y sector diwylliannol yn llawn drwy ei werth cymdeithasol cyfunol. Mae’r celfyddydau yn ei holl ffurfiau yn darparu amgylcheddau dysgu creadigol, pleserus, gyda’r potensial i gymell, difyrru ac ysbrydoli cynulleidfaoedd o bob oed, diwylliant a chefndir.

Rydym yn awyddus i ddemocrateiddio diwylliant a chreadigrwydd – mae’r rhan fwyaf ohonom yn cyfrannu at ddigwyddiadau diwylliannol hyd yn oed os nad ydym yn eu labelu felly, drwy fynychu a chymryd rhan yn unig, p’un a yw’n pobi teisen, dysgu iaith, cynorthwyo mewn unrhyw ffordd gyda digwyddiad lleol, ymweld ag arddangosfa neu berfformiad. Mae diwylliant yn ymwneud â’n bywydau yn gyffredinol; y ffydd yr ydym yn byw, siarad, credu, beth ydym yn ei greu, dathlu, ond wrth ei wraidd mae’r weithred o fod yn greadigol – ysbryd creadigol.”

I gymryd rhan yn yr arolwg cymunedol, am ragor o wybodaeth neu i gysylltu ag Ysbrydoli Sir Benfro fel darparwr celfyddydau, ewch i www.lifeseeker.wales/ysbrydoli-sir-benfro. Mae’r arolwg ar gael i’w gwblhau tan hanner nos ar ddydd Sul 19 Medi ac mae hefyd ar gael fel copi caled ar gais.
