Carol Jenkins recently organised a NHS Big Tea Party at her home in Dreenhill Haverfordwest and raised £1,010 for Derwen Ward at Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen.

Carol had surgery last year and wanted to say thank you to Mr Moosa and his team for the care she received.

Junior Sister Anwen Soddard said:

“On behalf of Mr Moosa and all on Derwen Ward we would like to thank Mrs Carol Jenkins her family, friends and Merched y Wawr for hosting a very successful afternoon tea to raise money for Derwen Urology. The money will be spent on buying equipment that will be used to enhance patient diagnosis and care in urology.”

Carol Jenkins added:

“Thank you to all who attended and helped at the tea party I’m so pleased to be able to support the ward and department that cared for me last year.”
