The forbidden fun of David Walliams’ best seller, Gangsta Granny, is set to delight children and adults alike in the iconic setting of Carew Castle on Tuesday 20 August at 6.30pm.
Heartbreak Productions returns to bring the exciting escapades to life on an outdoor stage at the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority managed setting.
Carew Castle Manager Daisy Hughes said: “This adventure story is brilliant; Ben is an 11-year-old who is fed up with spending boring nights in with his Granny, playing Scrabble and eating cabbage, until he stumbles upon her biggest secret.
“Ben’s Granny is an international jewel thief and she needs his help to pull off her biggest heist yet, involving the Crown jewels!
“It could all be hungry work, so please come prepared with picnics, and as always in Pembrokeshire, with appropriate warm or outdoor gear.”
The play is aimed at ages seven plus. Please bring a rug or low-backed chair to sit on, a torch and there will be hot drinks and ice creams to purchase to accompany your picnic.
Booking for this event is essential on 01646 651782 with the following ticket prices: £15 adult, £12.50 concession, £10 child, £46 family (two adults, two children).
Tickets are non-refundable and the performance will go ahead in wet weather. Doors will open at 5.45pm for the 6.30pm performance.

Mae’r sioe wedi’i hanelu at blant 7 oed neu hŷn. Dewch â thortsh a blanced neu gadair â chefn isel i eistedd arni. Bydd digonedd o ddiodydd poeth a hufen iâ i’w prynu i gyd-fynd â’ch picnic.
