Serge Pizzorno
Reveals New Single ((trance))
The S.L.P. Is Out 30th August On Columbia Records
September UK run includes two dates at London’s EartH
With the release of his anticipated debut solo record, ‘The S.L.P.’, on 30th August Kasabian mastermind Serge Pizzorno aka, The S.L.P., releases new single ‘((trance))’ today.
The fourth track to be taken from ‘The S.L.P.’ ‘((trance))’ is a dilerious end-of the-night, sun-going-down summer anthem. Speaking of the track Serge said ‘there’s a kind of French sophistication to it, it’s quite laid back, but it’s still got an ending that’s huge and euphoric and anthemic’. He continues ‘It lulls you in. It doesn’t really want to be an anthem, it wasn’t really supposed to be, but somehow, I got to the end and thought ‘this is huge’’.

Recorded and produced by Serge at his Leicester studio The Sergery ‘The S.L.P.’ is an 11-track trip across hip-hop influence, richly melodic moments, psychedelic-funk, new-wave and euphoric scenes.
Serge has also released a surreal Shopping Channel video with friend and actor, Stephen Graham, who recently starred in acclaimed series ‘The Virtues’ and ‘Line of Duty’. Watch the tongue-in-cheek clip as scientist Robert Lachowsky (Serge Pizzorno) appears on Stephen’s shopping network to sell some of his Super. Lovely. Products.
