We would like to invite you to attend the first ‘Innovation and Diversification Wales’ event on 26th of September, 2019, which will be held at South Glamorgan Hall, at the Royal Welsh Showground, to share / broadcast the event on your platform(s).
Here is an opportunity for farmers, and individuals interested in the field, to meet dynamic individuals from Wales and beyond, whom have had the confidence to explore new ideas, the vision to transform them into reality and the business acumen to set up successful diversified or new enterprises.
There will also be a chance to hear from inspirational key-note speakers such as Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, who’s also known as The Black Farmer, and Hannah Jackson, who is also known as The Red Shepherdess.
The winner of two annual Entrepreneur Awards, Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones is a classic entrepreneur with the “anything is possible” attitude to everything he approaches. Credited with bringing many of the top celebrity chefs to the small screen including Gordon Ramsay, Antony Worrall-Thompson, Brian Turner and James Martin, before founding a food and drink marketing company in London.
Wilfred subsequently fulfilled a lifelong ambition in purchasing a small farm in Devon, and has been responsible for one of the most successful food launches of recent times in the UK with his own range of meat products under The Black Farmer label. Talking about his background, his story and entrepreneurship, Wilfred will be on hand to inspire others to find opportunities within their existing businesses.
Businesses from every part of Wales and the UK, from various sectors have registered to attend the event, while showcasing the various produce and ideas available. 100 exhibitors will also be present!
Llion Pugh, a farmer’s son from Cemaes near Machynlleth, established Best of Wales with his co-director in 2009 whilst Kate Morel from Morel & Co, works with rural businesses, and both, as well as Catherine Price and many more will be at the event. A table of all speakers is available below.
