After much speculation we can finally confirm that The Original Bierkeller is set to open on Little Wind Street this September. The concept is well known and has the reputation of being the ultimate party venue where standing on benches is encouraged, swinging your Steins is a must and we have everyone singing along to not only to our traditional German Oompah Band but also to everyones favourite party tracks.

But it doesn’t end there.. the venue opens 7 nights a week with an Oompah party every weekend: Monday sees an interactive quiz night, with guest hosts by The Chasers from ITVs The Chase, Musical Bingo every Tuesday, Thursday sees a weekly event named Outrage ….which features the wildest on stage party games. Mixed in amongst this, will also be regular appearances from the UKs most ‘fun’ acts…think Cheeky girls, Paul Chuckle, S-Club, Dick n Dom and many more.

The Original Bierkeller Swansea will also be the Home Of Welsh Rugby with coverage of all the internationals on 11 screens and 3 large projection screens, with appearances from legends of the hallowed Welsh turf.

The Swansea opening sees a return to the city for two of its former sons. The Harewood Group currently operating The Original Bierkeller is owned by Paul Kinsey who was born and bred in Swansea, and the Swansea opening sees the group expand its estate to 10 venues, including the renowned Viper

Rooms, and soon to be 11 with another opening on the horizon for Cardiff!

Paul said “that its very special when you can come back to your home city with such an exciting concept to show everyone. I hope everyone loves it and feels as at home in the venue as all of our existing Original Bierkeller customers already do”

The opening also sees a return to the city for Dave Davies, Harewood’s Project Manager who is overseeing the build and launch.

Paul also asked that we mention that the Original Bierkeller has nothing to do with any of the previous operators of ‘Bierkeller’ in Cardiff, we are not affiliated with the burning man group who operated and closed ‘Bierkeller’.
