Carmarthenshire based business woman Marian Evans, has been recognised for her successes by being shortlisted in three categories at the prestigious annual Women in Business awards. Awarding the top Women in Business and also celebrating the 10th anniversary of the awards, Marian has been nominated in the Professional Woman, Role Model/Mentor and Inspirational Woman category.
The awards honour the best businesswomen in the Swansea Bay city region, and have increased in popularity year on year. Showcasing the breadth of talent on offer in the area there are 10 award categories and winners will be announced at the prestigious ceremony at the Brangwyn Hall, Swansea on the 11th October. The event will be hosted by journalist and one of the UK’s premier broadcasters, Frances Donovan.
Born and raised on the family farm in Llangynog, Carmarthenshire, Marian’s focus and drive has seen her succeed in many high profile roles during her career.
Her career began with the NFU Mutual where she was named as one of the top sales associates in the UK in her first year. She then went on to become the youngest female sales manager in the country and responsible for a business book of millions.
In 2017, Marian established Elevate BC offering Business Consultancy, Executive Coaching and Mentoring, Leadership Training and Development to individuals and businesses.
Marian has a real passion for supporting others and specifically established Elevate BC to share her experience and understated style for success through supporting individuals and businesses to maximise their potential and return on investment.
Her impressive list of qualifications and accolades make her a sought after mentor. Marian is a Chartered Broker a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management (one of only 5 in Wales) and a Qualified Executive Coach. In 2018 she also won the Mentor of the Year’ in the national Women in Financial Advice Awards.
In addition to Elevate BC Marian also has an impressive property investment portfolio a commercial partnership and is a founding director of Llansteffan Castle Ltd having recently added Llansteffan Castle, in Carmarthenshire to the portfolio.

Marian’s plans for the business and property portfolio continue to grow with exciting times ahead for Llansteffan Castle including becoming licensed to host weddings on site.
