Album Review
This Months album is from Elbow with their 8th studio album Giants Of All Sizes, Elbow are an English rock band formed in Bury, Manchester in 1997, the bands members include Guy Garvey, Craig Potter, Mark Potter and Pete Turner, they had their first break in to the music charts in 2001 with their debut album Asleep In The Back, the bands most noticeable album was released in 2008 The Seldom Seen Kid, selling over a million copies, it also went on to win the 2008 Mercury Music Prize and in May 2009 the band would win 2 Ivor Novello awards 1st for their biggest song One Day Like This, which won the main award, also Grounds For Divorce voted best contemporary song. So back to the new album it reached number one on it’s first week of release becoming the bands 3rd number one album.

Overall I give this album a score of 8/10, this album is a great listen, easy listening and radio friendly, White Noise White Heart is my stand out track on the album, could be up for a few awards this album. If you like bands like Idlewild, Doves, Tom Odell, Editors, Hard-Fi, The Verve and Muse you will like Elbow All thoughts are my own.
