Llanelli man charged following baseball bat attack

A Llanelli man has been charged following an alleged attack using a baseball bat in Burry Port.

Police attended Heol Elfed at around 10pm on Tuesday, October 22 in response to several reports of an assault taking place.

The victim, a man, was taken to hospital with head and arm injuries, and has since been released.

31-year-old Jamie Lee Clarke, of Denham Avenue, Llanelli, has been charged with aggravated burglary and breach of a restraining order, in connection to the incident.

He was remanded in to custody at Llanelli Magistrates Court today (October 24). He will next appear at Swansea Crown Court on November 25.
