Steven Phillips, Returning Officer for the Aberavon and Neath constituencies at the General Election is urging people to register to have their say in the forthcoming Election.
He said: “If you are not registered you can’t vote; but there is a quick and easy way to sort it by contacting the Council’s Electoral Services via the Council website at www.npt.gov.uk/elections. Options include postal and proxy votes, which would mean that voters don’t even have to go to their polling station if the weather is poor on Election day”.
There is plenty of time; but the quicker the better. The deadline for registration and postal votes is 26 November and proxies is 4 December.
