SANTA RETURNS TO CYNHEIDRE

It is now just a fortnight until Santa makes his annual visit to the Llanelli and Mynydd Mawr Railway on the weekend of 7^th and 8^th December with train rides for all, a gift for each child and seasonal refreshments.  Tickets have been selling fast and although there may be a limited number of tickets available on the day it is highly recommended that you pre-book for these very popular trains on the following web link https://www.llanellirailway.co.uk/events-booking Cynheidre is just five miles from Llanelli on the B4309 road.

Train rides will operate between 10.30am and 3.10pm on each day.  All visitors will be offered two train rides, a trip to Santa’s Grotto with a gift for the children plus seasonal refreshments including Mince Pies and Mulled wine.  Prices are £9 for adults and children (who receive a gift) and £8 for senior citizens. Infants under 12 months travel free of charge with the option of paying £4 to visit Santa and receive a gift.

The railway is hoping to grow into a major tourist attraction for the Llanelli district and in order to reach our goals we need more volunteer help in all departments including operational, maintenance and restoration, and administration.
