Dafydd Iwan is outselling artists including Stormy, The Weeknd, Due Lipa and Lewis Capaldi amongst others.
This is after a campaign launched by Welsh Independence supporters, Yes Cymru.
The song Yma O Hyd is currently at number one on the iTunes chart.
The song was originally released in 1993, it is also a favourite of Scarlets supporters too.
This campaign came about after a campaign to get The Wolfe Tones version of Come out Ye Black an Tans, which also got to number one on the iTunes chart earlier in the week, it’s new currently at number 16.
The song Yma O Hyd translates to Still Here, it celebrates the survival of Wales since the Roman times.
Dafydd Iwan has campaigned for the Welsh language for years, he’s also a former president of Plaid Cymru and protested against Prince Charles’ inveture 50 years ago.

On Saturday the group travelled to Glasgow to march with people of Scotland, for an all under one banner event, despite the weather over 80,000 people attended the march.
