Dear Partners, Colleagues and Friends.
Needless to say, we are living in times the like of which we have never seen before in most of our lifetimes with unprecedented challenges facing us all.
I would like to take this opportunity to update you with the news of our response at Llanelli Community Partnership.
- We recently made a donation to the Farm 29 Makerspace project. This project is working with organisations and businesses that have 3D printers. These printers are now being used to make Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Visors etc.) for front line medical staff at Prince Phillip Hospital (PPH) and local GPs. The donation will fund the much-needed raw materials for the printers

- Today we sent off an application to the Welsh Government Coronavirus Resilience Fund.
If successful, the Partnership will be able to support local initiatives supporting vulnerable people in Llanelli with supplies and also PPE for front line staff and volunteers

· We are currently looking at another project, “Masks for frontline workers” and seeing how we can support people in our community to make
these essential masks

Finally I would like to offer my personal thanks to all those in our community who are working tirelessly at this difficult time; the front line medical teams, the support staff, the people working in the care sector, the emergency and essential services and all the unsung heroes, the cleaners, delivery drivers, shop workers, people working for the utility services, and particularly for the people working for charities and community groups, many many of them giving their time as volunteers. The community has come together at this time and shown that we in Llanelli are a caring, supportive, strong and generous community.
Thank you all for your continued support
With kindest Best Wishes
Take care…Stay Safe
