The ‘Campaign to End Loneliness’ have been awarded a major National Lottery Community Fund award, to enable them to explore how loneliness affects older people in West Wales. Hosted by Independent Age, The Campaign to End Loneliness believes that people of all ages need connections that matter.
At Tempo, encouraging community has always been at the centre of what we do. Now, more than ever, we are seeing communities unite to support each other.
With the Campaign to End Loneliness’ support, Tempo want to play our part in helping you and your communities support each other best during this challenging time.
We’d like to offer you some support if you are holding an event to help combat loneliness in West Wales. This could be an online group chat, a yoga class, a Knit and Natter, or you may have something else in mind! Tempo are able to offer the following to support your activity:
• Time Credits to the person or people facilitating the event – great to have something to look forward to in the future.
• Promotion of your activity to a new audience through our website and social media channels.
• Access to bite-size e-learning courses for all groups leads.
• Invitation to a number of online national digital forums to help groups come together to identify needs and share ideas and solutions.
