Test, Trace, Protect

On Monday, June 1, Welsh Government and Public Health Wales launched their ‘Test, Trace, Protect’ programme which aims to help contain the spread of Covid-19.

Test, Trace, Protect involves asking people to report symptoms; testing anyone in the community who is showing symptoms; and tracing those they have come into close contact with so that they can be advised to self-isolate to stop further spread among family, friends and the community.

Working in partnership with Hywel Dda University Health Board and neighbouring authorities, we will build on the existing contact tracing expertise of our environmental health team and experienced call handlers to deliver this strategy locally.

Information can be found on Welsh Government’s website. A range of local resources, including frequently asked questions, will be available on our website soon.
