One camping staycation was booked every three seconds during a peak last week, but it was Butlins that money.co.uk has revealed to be the UK’s most longed for travel brand during lockdown.

Affordable seaside resort Butlins topped the list with 186% more searches during lockdown – making it the most sought after seaside escape with holiday seekers in Portsmouth making the most searches.
Here are the top 10 most-searched travel brands in the UK, between 1st April and 31st May:

2. Jet2Holidays – 178%
3. Hoseasons – 173%
4. Brittany Ferries – 162%
5. Caravan and Motorhome Club – 137%
6. P&O Ferries – 120%
7. Haven Holidays – 105%
8. Center Parcs – 100%
9. James Villa Holidays – 98%
10. Sandals – 92%
Of the 39 travel brands in the report, 18% were staycation-friendly, 61.5% were overseas focused and 10.5% were ferry/cruise brands.
