Music Maestro receives prestigious Parliamentary Award!!!

Hot House Music’s efficacious CEO, Jonathan Eno BEM has just been awarded this year’s top education award from a cross-party group of MP’s for his outstanding work promoting music education across the U.K.

The announcement was made yesterday evening by Chris Hodgkins (secretary for APPJAG) and Deputy Chair of APPJAG, Chi Onwurah MP comments:

“This has been another really strong year for the Parliamentary Jazz Awards in terms of talent and nominations. The well-deserved recipients are a veritable who’s who of names that have made a real impact on the music and helped make the UK one of the world’s leading jazz territories”.

The APPJAG awards have been celebrating the very best of British contemporary music for 15 years and the shortlist for the award included luminaries from the Royal Academy of Music and the BBC. The officers for APPJAG, which include: Lord Colwyn, Baroness Howe and Baroness Healy, hope to welcome Jon and the other winners to a celebratory award ceremony later this year.

Jon was delighted to receive the good news:

“I wholeheartedly believe that the success of our future depends upon our commitment to invest in the education and mental health of our young people. Hot House has been positively changing lives for nearly 20 years and I sincerely hope that we shall continue to help, support and nurture young people for generations to come. We hope the award will help us to continue delivering upon our mission of making a Hot House education available to all young people across the U.K. I am both humbled and honoured to be receiving the education award and would like to dedicate this achievement to all of our amazing staff and students. They are a wonderful tribe!”
