Hot House Musicâs efficacious CEO, Jonathan Eno BEM has just been awarded this yearâs top education award from a cross-party group of MPâs for his outstanding work promoting music education across the U.K.
The announcement was made yesterday evening by Chris Hodgkins (secretary for APPJAG) and Deputy Chair of APPJAG, Chi Onwurah MP comments:
âThis has been another really strong year for the Parliamentary Jazz Awards in terms of talent and nominations. The well-deserved recipients are a veritable whoâs who of names that have made a real impact on the music and helped make the UK one of the worldâs leading jazz territoriesâ.
The APPJAG awards have been celebrating the very best of British contemporary music for 15 years and the shortlist for the award included luminaries from the Royal Academy of Music and the BBC. The officers for APPJAG, which include: Lord Colwyn, Baroness Howe and Baroness Healy, hope to welcome Jon and the other winners to a celebratory award ceremony later this year.

âI wholeheartedly believe that the success of our future depends upon our commitment to invest in the education and mental health of our young people. Hot House has been positively changing lives for nearly 20 years and I sincerely hope that we shall continue to help, support and nurture young people for generations to come.
