Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault on a six-year-old child in Pembrey Country Park.
Police Officers are investigating claims that the youngster was approached by a man in his 40s or 50s at Pembrey Country Park on Saturday 11th July.
Dyfed-Powys Police have described the suspect, who was not known to the victim, as 6ft, white and tanned, with short, messy grey hair. He is believed to have been wearing a blue T-shirt and a hat, and was carrying a black rucksack.
On Wednesday a police spokeswoman said: ‘We are investigating an allegation of sexual assault by touching on a child, aged six years old, which occurred on Saturday afternoon, July 11th 2020, at a location in Pembrey Country Park, Carmarthenshire. ‘Officers are continuing to patrol the area.’
Anyone who saw a male matching the description, or who has information that could help officers with their investigation, is asked to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police.
