South Wales Police is appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision which occurred between junctions 43 and 44 of the westbound carriageway of the M4 motorway yesterday (21 September) at about 4.20pm.
The incident involved a single vehicle, a motorcycle, being ridden by a 70 year old man who was sadly declared deceased at scene.
The motorway was closed to allow investigation work to be completed and we would like to thank members of the public for their patience.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or the manner the motorcycle was being ridden in prior to the incident and anyone with dash cam footage should contact 101 quoting occurrence 2000346169.
