In the future, way way in the future, a man named Rufus is sent back into the past to guide the two young legends. Viewing this long-awaited third edition to the Bill and Ted trilogy, I have to admit I was very excited to see the conclusion. I mean it has been a twenty-five-year wait after all. Seeing where Bill and Ted are now is not quite what I was expecting but came with a lack of surprise, but I felt did I was on the journey with them. And the reason for that is that from the moment they met Rufas’s daughter, the amount of time they had to save the world, was the exact amount of time before the end of the movie.

In reflection, upon reviewing the previous two films, it looks like Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter had never acted a day in their lives. And to see both of them play the parts the same way in this new addition, in my opinion, is a true testament to acting ability. Unfortunately, the story felt a little repetitive in some areas. It even became a little bit predictable, but I really did enjoy this movie. It took me back to when I was in my teenage years when I was wondering what on earth was happening. Now I’m wondering the same thing about Bill and Ted’s daughters as they have their own story as well. There’s a lot of fun components in this film and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun ninety or so minutes.

I give Bill and Ted Face the Music a rating of four out of five stars. Some people may not agree with me on that rating but, I don’t care. I like what I like.

Stay safe out there and thanks for reading.
