Carmarthenshire County Council has launched its first live streaming of fitness classes.

Actif Anywhere brings you real-time fitness classes that you can do from home or anywhere, by using your phone, tablet or laptop.

The classes, which are delivered by the council’s Actif Sport and Leisure team instructors, include strength and conditioning, cardio and endurance, dance classes, HIIT, yoga and relaxation and cycling.

They can be booked online via the Actif Sport and Leisure website or The Actif App.

The council’s executive board member responsible for leisure, Cllr Peter Hughes Griffiths said: “The best part about these online classes is that you never work out alone.  It’s like being in a ‘normal’ fitness class just that you are taking part at home or maybe in the garden, at work or these can even be done in your local park. They are ideal for anyone who is unable to attend the leisure centres.”

The classes are free until the end of the year for members with a new or reactivated membership. You can also access the classes on a pay as you go basis.

For further information on the classes or membership offers can be found via Actif Sport and Leisure website, The Actif App and social media platforms.

If you need any assistance setting up your Actif Anywhere membership or accessing the platform please email actif@carmarthenshire.gov.uk
