Business Support and Information Available in Virtual Roadshow

Local businesses are invited to chat to officers from Pembrokeshire County Council’s business and regeneration units at a virtual regional roadshow on Thursday, 22^nd October.

Organised by Business Wales, the Mid and South West Regional Roadshow will be taking place between 9.30am and 3pm.

Pembrokeshire County Council will be hosting three stands – broadband, business support, and regeneration strategy.

Rachel Moxey, Head of Economic Development and Regeneration, said it was an excellent opportunity for businesses to discuss issues important to them with the local authority.

“Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s roadshow has gone digital and given a chance for businesses to learn more about the support and opportunities that are out there,” she said.

Businesses will be able to discuss improvements to broadband in the county and the support available for them, as well as find out about Pembrokeshire’s regeneration strategy.

The strategy sets out the local authority’s aims to ensure that Pembrokeshire thrives by delivering on digital connectivity, reshaping the built environment, working with partners to create clean, green engineering jobs and ensuring our world class tourism offer continues to grow.

The roadshow is being delivered online by the Haven Waterway Enterprise Zone Board’s Business Interaction Group along with the Mid and South West Regional Team and Business Wales.

It will feature a keynote speech from Lee Waters MS, Deputy Minister for Economy and Transport, as well as a virtual exhibition hall with the opportunity to take part in breakout sessions and one-to-one meetings with the 50+ exhibitors.
