Blankets and pom poms presented to Aberystwyth Cats Protection

Users of Aberystwyth Day Centre recently presented a collection of small blankets and pom pom toys to Helen Palmer, Acting Co-ordinator of Aberystwyth Cats Protection, for the charity to use whilst caring for cats and kittens looking for homes.

Councillor Catherine Hughes, Cabinet Member for Care, Assurance and Housing Services, said: “We are very grateful to all the users at the day centre for their help and support. This is a simple and sociable activity that’s a great way to bring people together.”

Ceredigion County Council Social Services provides Day Care facilities throughout Ceredigion. The Aberystwyth Day Centre is a specialised Unit that provides services around Day Care only.  If you would like to know more please call 01545 574 000.
