From 9 November 2020, up to 15 people will be allowed to take part in indoor activities organised by a club or recognised body.

The Welsh Government have released a list of Frequently Asked Questions related to community facilities.

Despite these changes, we still need to consider whether we should meet indoors to make sure that we minimise contact with others outside our extended households. It is critical that we continue to review the situation and do all that we can to protect our communities from further infection transmission and therefore careful consideration should be given prior to commencing indoor activity at community venues at this point in time.

Please continue to meet virtually wherever possible and when organising indoor activities keep your sessions brief and small in participant numbers, ensure that everyone maintains a 2 metre distance from others, wear a face covering and people are encouraged to regularly wash and sanitize their hands.

Prior to re-opening a community facility, those responsible must ensure that they are ‘Covid-Free Zones’. If you have decided to keep your facility closed, until a time that you feel it is safe to reopen, a  guidance document has been prepared to support you.

The Ceredigion Public Services Board Advice Panel will be holding another Information Session on Wednesday the 18 November 2020 at 7.00pm to discuss what we need to consider to keep Ceredigion safe after the Firebreak. Register here. A Zoom meeting link will be forwarded onto you prior to the online meeting.  Should you have difficulty in accessing the link there will also be a dial in number available.

The pack of useful resources on the Ceredigion County Council website has been kept up to date. Also, the Panel meet regularly to provide support and respond to queries, please forward any questions you may have to the CAVO Team at gen@cavo.org.uk or call 01570 423232.

Together, we can keep Ceredigion safe.
