Fabulous presents donated by Fendrod MOT centre

A Swansea garage has delivered some early Christmas joy to families supported by Action for Children in the city.  Swansea Young Families and the Skills for Living service will receive a bumper collection of toys and games courtesy of Fendrod MOT Centre owned by Russell and Sarah Cashion.

Sarah Cashion said: ‘We have been very fortunate we have been able to trade throughout the pandemic and we wanted to give something back to those who have particularly struggled this year.  We’re aware of the great work Action for Children does in Swansea and thought the families they support would enjoy some early Christmas presents after such a challenging year.’

Debbie Whyte works for Action for Children’s Swansea Young Families service and said: ‘This is a wonderful gesture from Russell and Sarah.  To recognise their good fortune and think of families worse off than themselves shows lovely Christmas spirit at a time when so many have suffered.  The families are so grateful, it has been an incredibly difficult year for them and the presents will make a huge difference and start their Christmas with a swing.’
