Commenting on a letter from Wales’ largest sporting organisations urging the First Minister to allow fans to return, Welsh Conservative spokesman on sport, Andrew RT Davies MS, said:
âWales has a proud sporting heritage and it is the backbone of our communities across the country.
Â
âIt has been an incredibly frustrating year for Welsh sport, and this is only intensifying as our elite clubs see fans return across the border in rival stadia.
Â
âThe Labour-run Welsh Government has been insistent on doing everything differently with not much success and it is coming at a significant cost risking the very future of clubs and sport in Wales.
Â
âI echo the comments made by the clubs and sports bodies and implore the Labour Government to urgently publish a clear roadmap for the return of spectators in Wales.â
